Herbed compound butter brightened with lemon — ready to chill and use as needed.

Ingredients

  

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 2 teaspoons fresh tarragon, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

Instructions

 

  1. Work herbs and lemon juice into softened butter.
  2. Cover tightly and refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

Try melting a pat over grilled fish or steamed vegetables.
