Parsley Mouth Rinse

A simple parsley infusion with rosewater to freshen breath and gently tone gums; store chilled if using frequently.

SERVINGS: 8 ounces (yield)

Ingredients

  

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves (or 1 tablespoon dried)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons rosewater

Instructions

 

  1. Place parsley in a glass or ceramic dish and pour boiling water over it. Let steep for several hours.
  2. Strain and discard the leaves. Stir in rosewater and pour into a clean container.
  3. To use: Rinse your mouth after brushing teeth and gums, swishing and gargling as desired.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator to extend shelf life if using over several days.
