A rich and creamy potato casserole layered with fresh rosemary and butter. Perfect as a hearty side dish for family meals.

Ingredients

  

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 4 tsp chopped fresh rosemary leaves
  • ยฝ cup butter (divided)
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup milk or half-and-half
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • ยผ tsp salt

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF. Butter a large baking dish.
  2. Layer half the potatoes in the dish. Top with half the rosemary, 1/4 cup butter, pepper, 1/2 cup milk, flour, and salt.
  3. Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
  4. Cover and bake for 45โ€“60 minutes until potatoes are tender. Uncover and bake 15โ€“20 minutes more to brown the top.
