Basil and Oregano Pesto

A classic pesto blending basil and oregano with garlic, Parmesan, and walnuts.

Ingredients

  

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons fresh oregano leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ยผ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ยผ cup walnuts
  • ยฝ cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

 

  1. Combine basil, oregano, garlic, cheese and walnuts in a food processor.
  2. With machine running, slowly add olive oil through feed tube.
  3. Season to taste. Refrigerate up to 1 week or freeze.
