Classic Za’atar blend: tangy, nutty, and aromatic, perfect for breads, meats, and roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

  

  • ¼ cup sumac
  • 2 tablespoons thyme
  • 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons marjoram
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

 

  1. Grind sesame seeds in a food processor or mortar and pestle.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Store in a cool, dark place in an airtight container for 3-6 months.
