Iced Lemon Balm Tea

A refreshing lemon balm–infused orange pekoe iced tea concentrate that stays flavorful when poured over ice.

Chill Time (at least) 1 hour
SERVINGS: 8 servings

Ingredients

  

  • 8 cups water
  • 15 bags orange pekoe tea
  • 3 sprigs fresh lemon balm (about 5 inches long each)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • ice, for serving

Instructions

 

  1. In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat and add tea bags and lemon balm. Cover and set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and lemon balm and discard. Stir in sugar until dissolved. Add lemon juice. Chill for at least 1 hour.
  3. To serve, pour lemon tea into a tall glass of ice.
