Roasted garlic spread infused with honey, basil, and rosemary — perfect for spreading on whole grain crackers or pita triangles.

Ingredients

  

  • 2 heads garlic
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons honey
  • 1 ½ teaspoons fresh basil (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons fresh rosemary (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Slice the garlic heads in half horizontally. Drizzle 1 teaspoon olive oil on the exposed cloves and then drizzle with 1/2 teaspoon honey. Sprinkle with herbs.
  3. Wrap garlic in aluminum foil and bake for about 45 minutes, or until soft.
  4. Spread on whole grain crackers or pita triangles and serve warm.
