Line an 11×7×2-inch pan with wax paper. Melt all ingredients together in a double boiler until smooth. Pour and spread evenly.12 oz dark chocolate (≥45% cacao), 1 1/2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons Aleppo pepper, 1 tablespoon chili pepper, 1 tablespoon sweet paprika, 1 tablespoon cinnamon, optional nuts/dried fruit/orange zest

Sprinkle with crushed red pepper if desired. Chill at least 2 hours until set. Break into pieces and store airtight in the refrigerator.
Notes
Try variations with cardamom, coriander, or different chocolates.
