Thai Basil Rolls with Hoisin Peanut Sauce

Fresh and fragrant Thai basil rolls filled with crisp vegetables and herbs, served with a creamy hoisin-peanut dipping sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 sheets rice paper wrappers
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • ½ cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • ½ cup bean sprouts
  • Hoisin Peanut Sauce (for serving)

Instructions
 

  1. Soften rice paper wrappers one at a time in warm water for 10–15 seconds until pliable.
  2. Lay on a damp towel and fill each with lettuce, carrots, basil, cilantro, and bean sprouts.
  3. Fold in the sides and roll tightly like a burrito.
  4. Serve with Hoisin Peanut Sauce for dipping.

Notes

These rolls can be prepared up to two hours ahead and kept covered with a damp towel until serving.
