A fragrant herbal sachet filled with dried scented pelargonium leaves, lavender buds, sweet woodruff, and hops cones to tuck inside a pillow.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup scented pelargonium leaves (dried; rose-scented cultivars preferred)
  • 1 cup lavender buds (dried)
  • 1 cup sweet woodruff leaves (dried)
  • 1 cup hops cones (dried)

Instructions
 

  1. Blend equal parts (about 1 cup each) of dried scented pelargonium leaves, lavender buds, sweet woodruff, and hops.
  2. Fill small cotton or muslin sachet bags (or flat bags that can be secured) and tuck inside a pillow. Remove any twigs that could poke through the bags.
  3. Optional: Substitute or add herbs such as catnip, lemon balm, rose petals, rosemary, and sweet marjoram. Note: Chamomile may trigger an allergic response in some individuals prone to hay fever.
