Tender yellow green beans tossed with coarse salt and fresh lemon basil leaves. A perfect finger food appetizer with drinks.

Ingredients

  

  • ½ pound yellow green beans
  • 1 cup lemon basil leaves (per 1/2 pound of beans)
  • coarse salt to taste

Instructions

 

  1. Boil yellow green beans in salted water until just beyond tender crisp. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.
  2. Turn beans into a bowl with a generous amount of coarse salt and lemon basil leaves. Enjoy at room temperature.

Notes

Serve as a finger food appetizer during summer and fall gatherings.
