Tropical Carrot, Turmeric, and Ginger Smoothie

Ingredients

blood or navel orange
(peeled)

large
carrot
(scrubbed and chopped)
½
cup
frozen mango chunks
⅔
cup
coconut water

tablespoon
shelled raw hemp seeds
¾
teaspoon
grated fresh ginger
1 ½
teaspoons
grated fresh turmeric

pinch
cayenne pepper

pinch
kosher salt
Instructions
Place orange, carrot, mango, coconut water, hemp seeds, ginger, turmeric, cayenne, salt, and ice in a blender.
Blend on smoothie or ice crush setting until smooth.
Serve immediately.
Notes
A pinch of salt enhances the sweetness. Makes about 2 cups.
