Rose Hip Liqueur
A delicate liqueur infused with aniseed and rose hips for a subtle herbal sweetness.

Ingredients

teaspoon
aniseed
12
ounces
vodka
3
tablespoons
crushed fresh rose hips
(or 1 tablespoon dried)
¼
cup
water
½
cup
sugar
Instructions
Place aniseed in a small glass bottle. Add vodka and steep for 1 week.
Strain out aniseed, add rose hips, and steep for 4 weeks.
Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Boil, then simmer 5 minutes. Cool.
Filter vodka through a damp coffee filter and pour into a sterilized bottle.
Add sugar syrup and allow to mellow for at least 2 weeks.
