Ingredients
1quartPelargonium (rose geranium) leaves(loosely packed; lemon- or rose-scented types work well)
1 ½cupsgranulated sugar(for syrup)
¾cupwater(for syrup)
1litervodka
Instructions
Place Pelargonium leaves in a 2-quart jar.
Make a simple syrup by boiling sugar and water; cool to room temperature.
Combine vodka with cooled syrup and pour over the leaves. Store in a dark closet for at least 6 weeks.
Filter and bottle. Store in a cool, dark place; keeps for months.
